Jabres cattle are one of the superior livestock of Brebes Regency, Central Java. Jabres cattle itself is named after the abbreviation Javanese and Brebes and has been bred for generations by local residents. As an effort to increase Jabres Cattle production, the Brebes Regency Animal Husbandry and Health Service is collaborating with UGM and PT. Indo Prima Beef to produce quality calves with maximum production quantity.

Collaboration is also carried out with BIB (Artificial Insemination Agency) Ungaran regarding the procedure to be carried out, namely taking frozen semen (sperm) from bulls. This cement is then placed on straw with a certain color and code, which has been determined for Jabres cattle breeds.

Mass harvest of 1000 calves and pregnancy induction of Jabres cattle are using the application of Veterinary Reproduction technology. This also supports national meat availability in the Strengthening Indonesian Food Sovereignty program.
