International Undergraduate Program (IUP)

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

Introduction

The International Undergraduate Program of Veterinary Medicine has received international accreditation from the ASEAN University Network (AUN QA) and ASIIN (European Standard), indicating that it is considered one of the most respected veterinary programs in the world. Based on ISO 9001:2008, the academic administration is conducted.

Students can experience a worldwide exposure course delivered in English through the International Undergraduate Program of Veterinary Medicine. Students will have access to a range of programs offered by partner universities and organizations across the globe, including student exchange, research, internships, and degree programs. Outcome-based education (OBE) will be used to teach international courses.

Every Universitas Gadjah Mada student will perform a two-month student community service and have a global perspective. International students will benefit from this since it will allow them to receive experience and connect with the Indonesian community, both of which will enhance their ability to collaborate across professional boundaries.

According to the vision and goal of the faculty, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine plays a critical role in animal health, emerging infectious diseases, public health, and wildlife conservation. The UGM Faculty of Veterinary Medicine aspires to be a hub for cutting-edge, innovative, and Pancasila-inspired veterinary higher education that meets international standards.
