Collaboration between FKH UGM and PT. Kulaku Digitech International is developing animal anatomy learning materials based on Extended Reality (eXR) Anatomy technology, marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement (PKS) on February 28, 2024.
eXR Anatomy Technology is a 5-dimensional virtual technology whose application can replace experimental animals for education and continuing education. This technology enables interactive and engaging experiences that integrate virtual elements with the real world so that veterinary students and practitioners can interact with and manipulate digital content in their physical environment.
This technology is intended to replace the methods of studying animal anatomy that have been applied, namely the use of animal cadavers preserved in formalin and the freezing method. It is hoped that cooperation between FKH UGM and PT. Kulaku Digitech International, which specializes in creative economy work, application creation, system creation, AR, VR, and XR, can be a forum for providing perfect anatomy modules. This collaboration also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the field of quality education and partnerships to achieve the goals.
