The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FVM UGM) officially graduated 14 postgraduate students (Master’s and Doctoral levels) during the fourth graduation period of the 2025/2026 Even Academic Year. The graduation proceedings began with an internal send-off ceremony held at the FVM UGM Auditorium on Monday, July 20, 2026. Following the faculty-level send-off, all graduates were officially conferred their degrees during a solemn university-wide graduation ceremony at Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) UGM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
In this period, the FVM UGM Master’s Program saw the graduation of 10 high-achieving students who attained an average Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.95. Yasinta Rahma Setianingrum achieved the highest possible GPA of 4.00, while Luh Made Nanda Ayuni earned the distinction of being the fastest graduate, completing her studies in a remarkably short period of 1 year, 7 months, and 1 day—spanning from August 12, 2024, to her graduation on March 13, 2026.
The Doctoral Program (S3) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FVM UGM), also demonstrated remarkable success by graduating four high-caliber doctors with an average GPA reaching an impressive 3.99. Notably, two graduates achieved a perfect GPA of 4.00 and earned the distinction of Summa Cum Laude: Dr. David Ardiyanto and Dr. Ade Erma Suryani. In addition to her perfect GPA, Dr. Ade Erma Suryani set a record as the fastest graduate of the doctoral program for this period, completing her studies in three years and four months.
The Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, representing the Dean of FVM UGM, expressed pride and the highest appreciation to all graduates for their hard work. The faculty hopes that the knowledge, clinical expertise, and research findings they have acquired will be put to tangible use for the benefit of society. The contributions of these postgraduate graduates are highly anticipated in supporting the strengthening of animal health, global food security, and the development of the “One Health” concept in Indonesia.
