Monday, 30 September 2024 Mid-term exams for UGM Faculty of Veterinary Medicine students begin. As in previous years, exam participants at 07.15 am will get a free breakfast provided by the faculty. FVM UGM provided 1,031 portions of breakfast during the Midterm. The breakfast given provides balanced nutrition with rice as carbohydrates, two kinds of vegetables and protein. This is an effort to ensure that test takers, who are students, can have breakfast on time and no longer need to bother looking outside the campus. (SDG 2 Zero Hunger)

During the exam period and getting breakfast, students are encouraged to bring their own cutlery and drinking bottles. This appeal is aimed at reducing plastic waste that may arise when they eat food, especially plastic spoons and mineral water glasses. (SDG 12 Responsible Production and Consumption)

Freshmen of 2024, who experienced breakfast during exams for the first time, felt happy and helped by this morning’s breakfast. They also praised that the food provided was delicious. Students no longer need to think about what to eat in the morning and can immediately focus on studying for the exam the next day.

In this year’s Mid-Semester Exam, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UGM tightened the rules for exam participants. This aims to create honest exams, an effort to eliminate cheating, and encourage students to study harder so that the results obtained are satisfactory. Provisions for educational staff (as exam supervisor) have also been provided on Friday, September 27 2024 so that the Mid-term can run smoothly. (SDG 4 Quality Education).
