FKH UGM is a collaborative partner of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), an institution established by the Japanese government to assist development in developing countries. Assistance provided, among others, in the barn area in the form of an artificial insemination workshop and ultrasound examination of cattle.
JICA also facilitates general lectures for Veterinary students on problems that often become obstacles in the livestock sector. Collaborating with Yamaguchi University who sent competent lecturers and experts to share knowledge and experience in Veterinary Medicine.
The first day of the General Lecture was presented by Prof. Takashige Otoi, DVM., Ph.D from the Faculty of Bioscience and Bioindustry Tokushima University. And continued by Masayasu Taniguchi, DVM., Ph.D from the Theriogenology Laboratory joint Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Yamaguchi University.
The second day of the General Lecture was presented by Prof. Hiroshi Sato, DVM., Ph.D from Parasitology Laboratory Joint Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Yamaguchi University. And continued by Maiku Abe, Ph.D from the Data Science Laboratory Faculty of Intercultural Studies Yamaguchi Prefectural University.
