International Conference of Advanced Veterinary Science and Technologies for Sustainable Development (ICAVESS) is an international conference organized by Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. The 1st ICAVESS will be hosted virtually using Zoom meeting application on 28-29 March 2021. The conference provides an academic platform for researchers, academicians, practitioners, students, professionals, NGOs, industries and any stakeholders around the world to present research results and concomitantly develop possible communication for further collaborations.
ICAVESS is mainly being inspired by the concept of sustainable development as “the development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. For the 1st ICAVESS 2021 the general theme is “Synergizing Sciences for Sustainable Animal, Human and Environmental Qualities in Global Change”. We may take the best of advanced sciences and technologies nowadays but avoiding environment degradation is mandatory to guarantee natural resources will be inherited by our succeeding generation. The 1st ICAVESS also concerns about the global change of climate and anthropogenic factors which are unavoidably lead to significant changes in diseases distribution worldwide. In this context, the bridge of multidisciplinary studies is needed not only as a responsive reaction but also to develop sustainable strategy that may across continent and administrative boundaries.
The conference will allow us to learn current scientific researches, technologies, programs from other successfully diseases control countries as well as preventive management systems. Here, we invite you to be part of ICAVESS to together strengthen our institutional framework and recognize our interlinkage to be built in deep.
