Bogor (11-12/5) – The Indonesian Veterinary Medicine Students Association (IMAKAHI) successfully held the 27th National Working Conference (MUKERNAS) at the FMIPA Auditorium of IPB University, Bogor on 11–12 May 2025. This activity was an important moment for the national consolidation of Indonesian Veterinary Medicine students in designing strategic organizational steps.
The series of activities began on May 11, 2025 with the arrival of participants. The main agenda began on May 11, 2025 with the Opening of MUKERNAS which was officially held at the FMIPA IPB University Auditorium. The opening ceremony was attended by the leadership of FKH IPB, professional organizations, and invited guests from IMAKAHI’s strategic partners.
After the opening, the activity continued with the First Day Plenary Session, with the agenda of electing a temporary presidium, discussing the rules of procedure, electing a permanent presidium, reading the GBHPK, delivering the BPI work program, and delivering the PB IMAKAHI work program. As the deputy leader of BPI, Dyna Khairunnisa also explained the BPI work program for the next 1 period together with the leaders and members of BPI. The plenary forum took place dynamically and constructively, involving all active delegates from various institutions.
On May 12, 2025, the Second Day Plenary continued, focusing on the preparation and determination of IMAKAHI’s national work program for the next year. The activity was closed with a Closing Ceremony, which symbolized the end of the forum and the beginning of a new commitment to move together with one goal. With the end of the XXVII IMAKAHI MUKERNAS, it is hoped that the results of the forum can be immediately followed up and implemented by all levels of IMAKAHI management and members in each institution. The joint commitment that has been built in this forum is a strong foundation for going further in devotion to the profession and the nation.
The activities carried out in the XXVII IMAKAHI National Working Conference are linear with SDGs point 4, namely Quality Education, SDGs point 16 is Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDGs point 17 is Partnership to Achieve Goals. By establishing friendship, it is hoped that participants of the XXVII IMAKAHI MUKERNAS from all Faculties of Veterinary Medicine throughout Indonesia will be able to apply the knowledge and good things obtained during this activity.
