Bonding and Upgrading 2025 of the Kelompok Studi Hewan Kesayangan (KSHK) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada 2025 is an annual KSHK activity, which this year is specifically organized for the “Pengurus Harian KSHK” for the 2025 term. This activity organized by the Internal Relations Department and involves the provision of organizational material to enhance interpersonal soft skill, self-management, sharing and discussion sessions for personal development, as well as offline activities aimed at increasing familiarity among members. This year, the Bonding and Upgrading were conducted on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Warung Grande & Kopi, Pogung Kidul.

The 2025 Bonding and Upgrading Activity of KSHK FKH UGM was held for one day and divided into two parts. The theme for this Bonding and Upgrading Activity was “Pawsitivity Beyond Boundaries.” The Bonding activity included games, sharing sessions with alumni and “Pengurus Harian Inti” regarding time management, academic and organizational grievances, as well as impressions and messages from their involvement in KSHK. The Bonding activity was carried out as an effort to reduce the gap between KSHK members by increasing interaction through games prepared by the committee and improving communication both among KSHK members and between members and alumni. It is hoped that through this Bonding activity, the internal KSHK can become more familiar with each other, strengthen personal bonds among members, and enhance cooperation, communication, and trust within the group in the future.

Meanwhile, the Upgrading Activity was also held offline on the same day with a series of events in the form of “Post to Post”. Each post contained a drama depicting a case or scenario relevant to each KSHK department, along with its resolution. This activity was conducted as an effort to enhance members’ understanding of the duties and roles of each department, as well as to train their analytical skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities through simulations of real-life situations that may occur within the organization.

The recent Bonding and Upgrading programs reflect strong alignment with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The Upgrading session focused on enhancing essential soft skills, leadership capabilities, effective communication, and organizational understanding among participants. Meanwhile, the Bonding activity aimed to foster stronger interpersonal connections, reinforce solidarity, and cultivate a harmonious, inclusive, and democratic environment. These values are fundamental not only to achieving collective goals within the organization but also to making a meaningful contribution to society at large. Through these initiatives, the program underscores the importance of capacity-building and collaboration in nurturing future-ready professionals committed to sustainable development.
