Nowadays, pet animal’s interest has been increasing even more. In order to fulfil and to make sure the students in Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UGM know the profession’s as soon as possible, KSHK (Kelompok Studi Hewan Kesayangan) done a few series of seminar and workshops, called PABS (Pet Animal Basic Study), PAIS (Pet Animal Intermediate Study) and PAAS (Pet Animal Advance Study). This series focused on diagnosing technique and treatment.
The aim if the series were to know about the nutritious and feeding technique in small animals, deepen the knowledge and capability to do fluid therapy in small animals and enhancing the veterinary skill along the member of KSHK that has special interest specifically in small animals. The series also has the motto “The More You See; The More You Know”. The expected outcomes from the activities were the activities able to provide the knowledge and can be used as a learning tool for students to better understanding the techniques of caring for and treating pets, as well as client education.
