In order to support the government’s programs of stunting prevention on Indonesian toddlers, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine did a community service on 18 – 19th April 2023, by distributing Omega eggs and counseling about the utility of Omega eggs, produced by FKH UGM.

Although in a small scale, but FKH UGM is trying support the government’s programs in stunting alleviation, in the region around the Teaching Farm FKH UGM which produces OMEGA eggs. As in the South Pules Village Turi, Sleman and Dengok Playen Village, Gunungkidul.

The Dean of FKH also said, that the OMEGA eggs can be given to toddlers in the region around the Teaching Farm. Which later will be efforted to be given monthly, and the amount will be acustomed to the results of the eggs production.

FKH UGM doesn’t pretend that stunting occurred in those regions. The Dean believes that children in the regions the already grow nicely and nutritious. And FKH UGM only want to contribute to do better, so it can give benefit for people around the Teaching Farm FKH UGM, he said.
