Collaboration between FKH UGM and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kasetsart University, Thailand, has been around for quite a while. In the annual agenda of the Southeast Asia Veterinary School Association (SEAVSA) on April 22–23, 2024, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand, attended by the Dean of FKH UGM. On this agenda, the Dean of FKH UGM also extended the cooperation agreement (PKS).
The signing of this PKS was carried out by the Dean of FKH UGM, Prof. drh. Teguh Budipitojo, M.P., Ph.D., and the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kasetsart University, Dr. Khongsak Thiangtum, Assistant Professor. The signing of the PKS also marks an important step in strengthening ties between the two institutions, as well as promoting academic and cultural exchanges.
This collaboration is part of a joint effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the field of quality education and partnerships to achieve the goals. In the PKS, the two faculties are committed to working together on various programs to improve the quality of veterinary education and research.
With this collaboration, it is hoped that FKH UGM and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kasetsart University can continue to progress and develop, making positive contributions to the world of education and research in the field of veterinary medicine.
