The roadshow was done on 22nd – 24th February 2023 to some alumni in West Java.
On 22nd February 2023, the faculty leader of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada met Mr. Teguh Budi Wibowo, DVM. The meeting was held in Mr. Teguh’s house in Tasikmalaya, and after that conducted a farm visit to see broiler chicken maintenance methods in his farm.
The next day, on 23rd February 2023, the faculty leader went to PT. Bio Farma and PT. Sanbe Farma in Bandung. The aim of the meetings was to create and initiate collaboration between FKH UGM and each company, in the context of implementing MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka), where the students will be able to learn directly from the company in the form of an internship and the practitioner from the company will give lecture and knowledge sharing about the real situation in the company from the vet’s perspective. In the evening, the faculty leader held alumni gathering for West Java Gamavet, where the dean’s rank presented about the latest development of the faculty. The last day, 24th February 2023, the faculty leader visited PT. Medion Farma Jaya and PT. Tekad Mandiri Citra, also in Bandung.
