In this workshop three speakers were present who were experts in their respective fields, namely Prof. Dr. Sudibyo Martono, MS., Apt. Professor of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Dr. drh. Agustina Dwi Wijayanti, M.P. Chairperson Department of Pharmacology FVM UGM/Pharmacokinetic Expert, and and Syafaat S.Si. HPLC tool technician.

Siti Isrina Oktavia Salasia expressed her support and appreciation for this event because she could improve the science of veterinary pharmacology in order to continue to develop in terms of technology, applications, and their use. “Her hope is that this workshop is a forum for FVM and other agencies to communicate and collaborate and the knowledge gained can also be channeled to the community. With this workshop can be detected animal food products that have residues in the field, “her explained.
Prof. Sudibyo Martono, M.S., Apt. from Faculty of Pharmacy UGM as the first speaker explained the parts of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) as well as the steps for their use in the first session. In the second session, Prof. Sudibyo explained about the optimization and validation of the HPLC analysis method.
Dr. drh. Agustina Dwi Wijayanti, M.P. as the second speaker conveyed the usefulness of KCKT analysis for residue and drug testing in food from animal origin. Drug residues, especially antibiotics, are often found in foodstuffs of animal origin and are currently one of the biggest problems in the world of health.
The third speaker Syafaat, S.Si. explained how to operate and maintain analysis tools using HPLC. Presentation of the material was carried out accompanied by the operation of HPLC practices which participants directly participated in.
