Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UGM successfully passed 14 proposals out of a total of 168 proposals funded by Ristekdikti in 2019. This achievement is certainly very encouraging, considering that last year FVM UGM students successfully passed 13 proposals. In a consolidation event held on April 2, 2019 in Meeting Rooms 1&2, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UGM, Prof. Dr. drh. Siti Isrina Oktavia Salasia revealed that “We are very pleased with the achievement, of course the team that has passed the funding must immediately carry out their activities / research considering the time is very tight”. The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine also encouraged the PKM output not only to the Pimnas champion, but could be included in scientific publications and scientific conferences. The same thing was also expressed by the Vice Dean of Research, Community Service and Cooperation, Dr. drh. Rini Widayanti, M.P. “FVM UGM will fully support the implementation of student PKM in 2019, various difficulties related to Ethical Clereance (EC), borrowing places, and research testing will be simplified so that the implementation of PKM can be immediately completed.

Responsible for PIKO PKM drh. Anggi Muhtar Pratama, M.Sc. added, “PKM are only held for 3 months (April-June 2019). In July, we have to face external monitoring and evaluation, and in August Pimnas will be held at Bali’s Udayana University. Vice Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UGM, drh. Agung Budiyanto, MP, Ph.D, separately added that he also appreciated the achievement of this student. Of course there will be appreciation for all FVM students who can achieve at the National level.
